Lynn Gardiner

When she was just seven years old, Lynn watched her first dance show which inspired her to start dancing, and led her down a magnificent 29-year long road of dance, music, performance, and showing others how it’s done - and she’s still going! Starting with formal training in jazz, tap, ballet, acrobatics and hip-hop, she later discovered the joy of social partner dancing like salsa and swing. Lynn studied dance with Katie Maltsberger for 10+ years, is a graduate of Cal State Hayward (with a major in Spanish and a minor in American Sign Language), and attended Ballroom Dance Teachers College (learning how to teach 17 styles of ballroom dance - as both a leader and follower).

Throughout her dancing career, she has enjoyed performing at Disneyland, Disney World, Camp Broadway in NYC, the Oakland Coliseum (opening for an A’s game), fairs & festivals, cultural events, weddings, private events, and even in her kitchen. In addition to her daily private lessons, she's been known to coach Deaf students, Spanish-speaking students, and Special Olympics Performers. Always at home on the stage, and repeatedly showered with 1st place victories in dance competitions, dance instruction was an intuitive path for Lynn to share her skills with others.
